Embrace change

“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the

most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

– Charles Darwin

Change is defined as to undergo transformation, transition, substitution.

When faced with change it may seem scary. Our first instinct is to resist it with every ounce of our being, especially when it means stepping out of our comfort zone and trying something different.

Like eating healthier or deciding to go back to school, moving to a new city or starting a new career.

Change is all around us, it is an inevitable part of life. Right now — even though everyone is not thrilled about it — the weather’s going through a seasonal change…the leaves are changing color, the sun is setting earlier, the temperature’s getting cooler…autumn is in the air.

As we welcome the change in seasons, let’s embrace the change that is taking place in our life, because whether we like it or not, change is here to stay.

  1. I’ve often thought that… this sphere, that we humans need to believe we have been given, “dominion” over, is not host to just ONE intelligent species; that it is compacted with billions of them and… human beings, though they need to believe so, are most certainly not one of them. I’m almost steadfast on that notion. Intelligence has hindered people-kind’s ability to strengthen age after age, and… only weaken. Guided by natural law, those other billions of species have no power to select to stay the same… and I glorify them for it. We humans play a terrible role in this… scheme; enemy to everything that is pure. We’ll have our time.
